Webster Hall – America's Oldest Nightclub

Webster Hall is one of New York City’s largest and longest running venues with a capacity of 2,500 people. The nightclub opened its doors for the first time in 1886 and many bands like Green Day, Madonna and Alicia Keys have performed here ever since. With the mobile application New York clubbers can find like-minded people and even invite them for a drink.

For the Managing Director Kenny Schachter the application offers another use: Interaction with the club goers - like updating events in real time can take place anytime through a web based dashboard. By sending out coupons to users in close proximity, it can be ensured that the club will be filled even during mediocre times.

Functions and content of the application

  • Match & Meet: Find other clubbers with similar interests and meet spontaneously at the bar
  • Public wall: Upload pictures and comments
  • Display the public wall on screens in the club
